"Once upon a time there was a little three year old girl named 'Rose' who loved to dance and sing around her living room”. As Rose grew up she developed her passion not only for Dance but also for singing and performing. At the young age of 14 Rose blossomed into an accomplished Ballerina who danced professionally with the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE, THE ROYAL BALLET OF LONDON AND THE METROPOLITAN OPERA.
While dancing, her love of singing continued and she began performing in such productions as FUNNY GIRL, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, CABARET, PROMISES, PROMISES, and CAROUSEL in the New York/New Jersey Theatre scene. Performing at The Metropolitan Opera as a ballerina, alongside the Great Metropolitan Opera Singers, Rose was soon drawn to her passion of Opera. With the help of World Famous Mentors and Conductors, Rose began her study of Opera. She also attended the AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ARTS, NYC, and THE JUILLIARD SCHOOL OF MUSIC.

In 1970 she debuted in her first opera 'La Boheme" at Lincoln Center and a few years later returned to the stage of THE METROPOLITAN OPERA, but this time as a dramatic soprano.....since then Rose Kingsley has gone on to perform throughout the United States and abroad.  She has been a lead in major opera houses in opera's as 'Aida', 'Tosca', 'Electra', 'La Boheme' the opera 'Salome' being her signature role, where she not only sings, but dances as well.
She is the founder and Artistic Director of THE INTERNATIONAL OPERA INSTITUTE where she has mentored and trained singers who want a career on the major opera stage. What is very unique about Rose Kingsley is that she has a FOUR OCTIVE RANGE and is one of the few singers who can 'Crossover' from Opera/Classical singing to BROADWAY/CABARET!

She has apperead in concert with such lumineries as BOB HOPE, JOHN DENVER, VIC DAMONE, FRANK SINATRA, KATHRYN GRAYSON, PETER NERO , PLACIDO DOMINGO AND LUCIANO PAVORATTI ~ to name a few! Her portrayal of 'Carlotta' in Broadway's' PHANTOM OF THE OPERA' has brought her rave reviews. Rose Kingsley has also performed in concert in CARNEGIE HALL and STEINWAY HALL, New York City. She has been invited to THE WHITE HOUSE and has performed for three UNITED STATES PRESIDENTS, George Bush, Sr., Gerald Ford and William Jefferson Clinton. She has also done a command performance for HRH PRINCE CHARLES, of England.
Rose has recently returned to 'The Cabaret Stage' with a show that has been 'wowing' audiences throughout the country. She has been compared to a "Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand' all rolled into ONE, but mostly and in the end...she is simply 'just....ROSE!'
